The S11-M-500/10-0.4 is a fully sealed, 500kVA 3-phase oil-immersed distribution transformer engineered for medium to large-scale power loads. This low-loss, long-life transformer operates seamlessly at 10kV primary and 400V secondary voltages under the ONAN cooling system, in full compliance with IEC 60076 international standards.

How to install a ground-mounted 500kVA distribution transformer?

  1. Foundation Preparation: Cast a reinforced concrete foundation capable of supporting the full oil-filled weight of the 500kVA unit.

  2. Positioning & Levelling: Place the corrugated tank transformer via crane on the foundation, ensuring accurate leveling and wheel alignment.

  3. Grounding Connection: Securely bond the transformer ground terminal and the tank frame to the main substation grounding grid.

  4. Bushing & Cable Termination: Connect the 10kV primary and 400V secondary cables to their respective bushings using rated torque settings.

  5. Pre-Commissioning Testing: Conduct insulation resistance, voltage ratio, and oil level verification prior to energizing the circuit.
